Ecommerce

The first ecommerce site Hilary worked on was for the then newly formed publishing company Global Market Briefings which publishes titles on the subject of international business. The store used the MIVA shop product. the company moved into electronic publishing of it's titles and moved the bookstore to a specialist electronic publishing company, although Hilary continued to maintain the main website for several years.

OsCommerce v2.2 was the basis for the next store for Pixels UK, developed exclusively by Hilary. The work included the development of a new feature so that a sample of the video clips could be viewed and HSBC was used as the online payment gateway.

After EAB's adoption of eZPublish as it's CMS of choice the next two stores for Gifts for Pet Owners and Walk Digital were done using its ecommerce features and using Paypal as the payment gateway. Most of the work was done by EAB's chinese office but Hilary acted in a supervisory and consultative role for the projects.
